We believe in tithing for several reasons. It is Biblical. Malachi 3:10-12 is probably the verse that is most clear on the subject of where our Father challenges us in our giving. By tithing and giving of offerings, God is able to bless us into our lives. Tithing is an act of worship. We tell God, by the act of our giving freely to His work, that we trust Him to be our supply and meet all our needs.
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first-fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10.
